Here’s more about exactly what you can expect.

Peripheral neuropathy is a type of damage to the nervous system. It can cause problems with sensation and movement. Peripheral neuropathy often affects the hands and feet, but it can also affect other parts of the body. Symptoms can range from mild to severe, and they may get worse over time.

Symptoms of peripheral neuropathy can include things like:

  • Numbness/Tingling
  • Burning Pain
  • Unusual and/or loss of sensations

  • Muscle weakness
  • Deep Stabbing Pain
  • Balance Problems

In addition, there is a strong connection between autoimmune diseases and peripheral neuropathy. Autoimmune diseases are often the underlying cause of peripheral neuropathy, and the two conditions share many common features. Both conditions involve damage to the nervous system, and both can cause pain, numbness, and weakness. In addition, both conditions can be difficult to diagnose and treat. This is why thorough testing is vitally important to helping peripheral neuropathy.

Can Peripheral Nerves Heal?

Absolutely! The key to healing nerve damage is to identify and address the underlying cause of the neuropathy. Once the cause is addressed, the nerves can begin to heal. However, in order for the nerves to heal effectively, four factors must be taken into account:

  • The severity of the damage
  • The type of damage (e.g. axonal, demyelinating)
  • The presence of any other underlying conditions
  • The level of support and care provided to the nerves during healing

You have sensory nerves (both small fiber nerves and large diameter nerves) and motor nerves (that control movement of your muscles.) Please note: if there is muscle weakness from neuropathy for greater than two years the damage to the muscles will probably be permanent!

How Long Will Care Last?

This will be dependent on the degree of nerve damage and what types of fibers are damaged. The amount of treatment needed to allow the nerves to recover varies from person to person and can only be determined after a detailed neurological and vascular evaluation.

The treatment we provide has four main goals:

  • Optimize the environment within the body for nerve healing.
  • Increase blood flow to the nerves.
  • Stimulate the nerves that are damaged (small fiber, large diameter, or motor nerves) to reduce pain and improve balance.
  • Decrease brain-based pain.

Our exclusive treatment system increases blood flow to the nerves in the feet and/or hands, which helps to rejuvenate nerves naturally and has returned many of our patient’s feet and/or hands to normal. No surgery. No addictive medications. Our proprietary and comprehensive treatment program utilizes up to 8 different state-of-the-art technologies and is unlike any treatment program you may have already experienced.

The 4 Vital Components Of Our Neuropathy Protocol

Electromagnetic Infrared Therapy

Utilizing low-level light therapy (LLLT), we can increase blood flow and repair nerves. This therapy signals Vasoendothelial Growth, which improves the production of angiogenesis, AKA new blood vessels. The new blood vessels grow back around peripheral nerves, providing them nutrients to repair and heal. There have been more than 21 peer-reviewed studies on this therapy, which currently has a 97% success rate!

In-Clinic Visits & Online Education

We believe in helping and educating our patients every step of the way. Your care plan may include weekly office visits for in-clinic protocol. For more severe cases, we may recommend seeing you more frequently. We’ll also communicate with you via email sending health tips, recommendations for supplements and exercises, and do our best to keep you accountable and moving forward with your progress.

Advanced Nutrition Therapy

Nutrition plays an incredibly important role in healing tissues and repairing nerves. Our advanced nutritional therapies are designed to help heal the body and address inflammation, bioavailable nitric oxide, blood flow, and other complex processes.

Electrostimulation

Through advanced electrostimulation, we can re=educate your nerves to promote growth. This is something used by the Cancer Centers of America during chemotherapy to help rebuild nerves, which means it’s helped thousands of people across the nation. Many patients notice an immediate relief in pain as well as improved sensation.
